Adding some new grille lights. I used eagle eye amber and white sets.

Took pictures of it, and posted it up for sale on kijiji autos. It's time I find my truck back. Wife approved me getting my zr2 pickup, so I've found a couple I'm going to look at on payday. Still got the jimmy and sonoma, so I'm not going anywhere either way.

oh and received the new acdelco waterpump. So that'll be tomorrow after work

A couple days late but I took my Blazer on another back woods exploratory drive on Sunday. There were a couple tight spots. One was where the track was getting only wide enough for an ATV where the track joined up with a larger abandoned logging road. Then there was the locked gate I found where I was on the wrong side! Fortunately, like with the other tight spot that the Blazer is small allowed me to squeak by. I felt the skid plates and the running boards bottom out only 2-3 times.

With my Bush Winch system, I had the confidence to push things a bit because I knew I had some options for getting unstuck.

Not so bad, yet.

OK, getting a bit tight. It got almost too tight to get up and over a steep part further up. I could feel one wheel spinning when I was on only three of them.

D'oh! Wrong side of a locked gate!

I had 3" to spare. Can you see where my outer tires were on the outside fo the berm? A win for small trucks!

Last night I took her on a 6 hour round trip and she did great! Burned though a tank and a half of gas in the process lmao but hey gas it cheap right now

I've been trying to get my hands on a project 4x4 ATV, something for relatively cheap that needs some work. Every deal I've found recently I've lost out on because I didn't get to the seller in time to buy it before someone else snatches it up... So a deal came up south of me for ALL of the parts that I would need to convert my perfectly fine 2wd Yamaha into a 4x4, and I decided I wasn't letting the deal slip by me So I hopped in the Blazer after work and drove to get it all!

Should be a fun project!

Locked...

...and loaded.

Deez iz mine'z toyz. Mee Likee.

My Limo princess.

the roomie's goods. pay close attention to the location and securement of the rear tires....

One of these things is not like the others. two of these things do not look the same....

home sweet home. only one man down. we left Chicago with 5 tires. we left Merrill Wisconsin with four. Many Lessons Learned, Grr. RIP Wrangler GSA brand new spare. we will always remember you. 😪😒

12.2 mpg with a lot of idling. Like locking the truck running every restaurant so the dog stayed warm. And 3 heat the truck back up attempts during last nights 20degree Iron Mountain Camp out ish. and pulling the trailer both ways in 3 the whole trip. and under $200 total, so I'm calling it good.

Ordered new door pin hinges and bushings because my driver side door is sagging and rattling again. I swear, this is the thing that pisses me off the most about this truck.
