Got it a little dirty today at Turkey Bay OHV Park, got home and cleaned off two spots big enough to put a couple of decals on it.

Thumbs up Sorted 4wd

Have had "Service 4wd" light coming on randomly for months, at the same time nothing would happen whichever switch I pressed. I also started noticing that the indicator lights flicker whenever I go over bumps so I decided to take a gamble & replace the switch. Sometimes if I tap the top of the switch surround things would start working again. Bought an aftermarket Dorman one on Ebay for £40 (made in China of course like everything else seems to be now!) & fitted it & everything's working perfectly again now and "Service 4wd" light hasn't been on since. Gonna try to take the old switch apart sometime to see if I can find a bad solder joint or something similar. Glad I solved the problem.

Got my engine out of the Blazer and torn apart. It was close to being rebuildable... till we punched one of my pistons out and found a 4 inch gash that led to a 3 inch by 1.5 inch hole in my cylinder wall... ill post some pics of it all in a little while.

I had been really lucky with everything on the $250 2000 LS. Untill yesterday. Had a sticking right front caliper so I had a look at it yesterday. The bleeder screw was completely rusted, went out and bought new ones for both sides and tried to take the old one out.
No luck. In fact it was so bad that I will have to buy another caliper. May as well buy two. from the wreckers of course. Looks like another couple of weeks till its on the road.
