Default 04 2dr 4x4

Bought this Blazer and figured it needed pads and rotors, well ended up needing all 4 calipers as well, oh and a serpentine belt and tensioner pulley.
It sat for a few years before I bought it.

I am finally getting around to dropping the transfer case to replace the leaking inner seal. While I'm at it, I am replacing the rear output seal & the driveshaft u joints all around too. The front output seal looks to be holding up fine for now. It didn't leak with an overfull case ! With the cross member out of the way, I took advantage of the ample room to drop the transmission pan and do maintenance. I put a fresh coat of primer and cover coat on the cross member before reinstalling it also. A new cap and rotor are also going in since I removed them to prevent damage when I dropped the driveline. 204,000 miles

Wife's Colorado had the wheel fall off a few days ago, working on getting it fixed currently.

Well, I guess photobucket has decided to change how they handle accounts. No more pics from them from me.

My son finally got far enough ahead to get his gasket set so we've started the process of swapping parts off of the last 3.1 onto the new salvage 3.1. Haven't gotten too far yet. So far we've only changed the heads and pulled off the water pump, timing cover, and oil pan.

Can anyone tell me, on an '85 Chevy S10 Blazer 4x4 with a 2.8, what is supposed to be in the 'port' right behind the freeze plug on the right hand side of the engine? (passenger side)

I'll Try to include a picture of the thing that is there for the 3.1. I never have much luck with it though.Name: IMG_0015.jpg

Photobucket decided to extort all it's users, so will no longer be hosting pics. I recommend this site: https://postimages.org

I know I like to have never got past all the popup ads to upload the picture in the first place. I'll check this site out when I have time.

Ok, I'll try this again. Does anyone know what goes in the 'port' behind the motor mount on the passenger side of the 2.8 engine in an '85 Chevy S10 4x4 Blazer? If I've done it right here is a picture of what is there on the 3.1 we're transplanting.

That's a knock sensor. Should be a plug that plugs into the center.
