Years ago I owned a 1976 one ton 4X4 Chevy van, it had the stock 16'' tires but to fit into the garage that I had at the time I had to 3/4 deflate the tires and once in the garage reinflate them .......

JVC KD-SR85BT Bluetooth and CD. $89 at Wally World. Went right in with a $9.99 harness (came with antenna adapter and a $12 dash kit. So far, glad I pulled the trigger. Audio controls are a little counter intuitive at first, but once I figured it out, zero remorse.

Received my new OBDLink MX today to troubleshoot some issues on my 13 Dart Rallye. I thought maybe I'd hook it up to the Blazer and sure enough I was able to clear a couple of old codes. It was interesting to run the rig and watch the various readings displayed in the app's dashboard. I see a lot of possibilities to having one of these.
Also got the drip weatherstrip installed on both sides.

Adjusted my spare tire carrier latch and hit it with some WD40. Was starting to get very hard to open. Pops open almost like new again If I could only get it to stop rattling now...

While I had the rear hatch open, I went ahead and installed a little 3rd brake light flasher module that I've had laying around for some time now. Makes the 3rd brake light flash 3 or 4 times real fast then stay lit up solid when the breaks are applied, just for better visibility.

I got the resistor repalced on my blower fan motor so now I am fancy with 4 yes 4 speeds for my fan.

Then addressed the water retention problem with my sunroof with a screwdriver by clearing out the drains for the rear of my sunroof track. Hope this helps solve the drip that become a sloshing event.

Woke up this morning to my daughter saying "Dad, the Blazer broke down last night. It started putting out smoke and then the engine died. I managed to get it pulled off the road into a tire dealers parking lot". I drive over the river to the next town and find it parked in a handicap parking spot. I start it up and it runs pretty rough. I turn it off and look under the front of the rig and find fluid. A taste tells me it's coolant. I pop the hood and start searching. I find that the bypass hose had come off the water pump, causing coolant to basically blow all over the engine compartment. I tried reinstalling it but couldn't quite get the pliers on the hose clamp. Went back home, picked up the socket set, returned, and removed the belt pulley that sits just above it. I reinstalled the hose, filled it with dex cool and fired it up. It ran rough for a minute or so and then smoothed out. Had the wife drive it home and she said it ran fine. The hose coming off is related to me letting my neighbor and his friend change out the water pump quite awhile back. I will be buying a new hose and clamp as I don't trust this one now. I pressure washed the engine compartment and am letting it dry out tonight. Shouldn't take long as we're near 90* right now.
