Dodge Intrepid electric fan swap, one of the best mods I've done to the 'ol girl

lol mine is originally from Tennessee and it shows it in some spots, there's some rust on that bumper where a trailer ball would go and a little starting to pop up on the driver's side rocker...

I'm working on a spare tire carrier for my truck that will mount to the back and fold down when I need access to the bed. It's still a work in progress but you can get the gist of it from the picture.

What year Camaro are the rims off of? Did you have to use spacers or anything?

I'd seen that last picture of the truck with a Blazer carrier before and I didn't care for it. For one the sheet metal is so thin on these trucks even with a bolster inside. When it's unlatched that's a lot of weight dangling out in space. I weighed a stock tire and rim for mine and it was about 80 lbs.. Another thing I didn't like was that it put the tire in my line of sight when looking out the rear view mirror. I also want to incorporate a high lift jack onto my carrier. Having a way to remove it quickly and easily was also something I want. I didn't want to just mount a tire carrier directly to the tailgate either. My next revision will be to make it adjustable so it will adapt to any size tire but that will come at a later date.

Eshaw, are you going to mount the rear license plate to the wheel... Or off to the side?
