Default 4x4

4X4 has not been working for quite a while and i suspected the TCCM after reading the fourm for a while. After looking online and finding out they want like 140+(E-bay) for a used i finally went to my local salvage yard and got one that was already taken off for 75 bucks. Pretty awesome imo. hooked it up and BAM works like a charm.

Technically from and 04

And while driving down Canada's awesome gravel roads hitting mud puddles and such got home and the bottom of the door was froze shut. It was not even that cold out today.

did alot today, replaced front rotors, calipers, brake pads, greased front end, pulled both rear axleshafts and replaced axle seals. (drivers side was leaking) cleaned out the differential real good, discovered alot of wear and pitting on the spider gears, ring and pinion both looked good though.some wear on the axles where the seal and bearing rides. cleaned the brake shoes, painted the brake drums and diff cover before putting it all back together. only thing i need to do now is pull the radiator out of my parts blazer and put it in the good one, ive had a small leak for awhile and its not going to fix itself. hopefully the one out of the parts rig is good, new one is about $130.00 probly a cracked tank. seems like gm radiators all do that eventually. some pics from today:

winter is officially over in my book, due to the absence of snow and 40+ degree weather, so now im gonna go apesh*t on making my blazer in perfect shape. Yesterday i pulled off the driver side door panel cause the plastic area on the arm rest that the srews go into is broken, also the power mirror switch is crap, so tomorrow its off to the local JKyard.

Today a friend and I put a rebuilt transmission in my wife's '93 Jimmy. It's under the truck and bolted in but dinner was ready right after we got the torque converter bolted up to the flywheel. I'll probably work on it some later in the week and get everything else hooked up and get it on the road. She'll be happy and then I can get back to working on my Blazer.

I'll keep you posted after I receive them and put them on.
They came quicker than I thought... Took about one minute total to change the wipers. We got a typhoon rain yesterday in wisconsin and they're as smooth as a baby's bottom. Great start. Good wipers.
