today my abs light went on sadly and my back brakes locked . thats how bad they were. I really cant afford brakes right now so i need to wait till the end of the week. sucks =(

 

I pulled ALL the plastic from the interior, removed the carpet, and headliner. The front end is already pulled apart of cosmetics. Tomorrow hopefully I will drop the fuel tank, cut the exhaust (aftermarket and brand new cat).

Still not sure if the time is going to payout stripping the car down this far...time will tell. I'll keep everyone updated on the project

I will be picking up another full vert top for my K5 along with two NP205 transfer cases tomorrow.

 

Bought a grant steering wheel install kit and a puller for the weekend fun time.

bye bye old steering wheel.

 

Wash and wax. And I pulled the front valance off but kept the impact strip.

 

That is what I got done!

 

Front brake pads and rotors.

Once I quieted it down by replacing the rattling catalytic converter, I could hear the front pads starting to scrape the rotors... Two of the pads were just touching metal.
