Well, spent the money on a busted part seems like. Had all sorts of back break pressure but no front breaks. the output for the front wasn't building pressure. Found a rotted line for the rear tires but still no front breaks. Put the old M/C back in bled the lines and yeah still seems spongy no air in the lines but it stops on a dime. I think I'm still dealing with a bad M/C but I've had enough for this year next comes motor mounts when I can order them...

Default What I did today...

I replaced the locking aftermarket gas cap with a new AC Delco cap and replaced the 125k mile coil pack with a new one, also AC Delco. So far so good on fixing my multiple misfires.

I'm going to do the fuel filter tomorrow. I also found a hose going to a T that was broken on the inlet and a hose from the T going to nowhere that I will try to figure out. I believe it's coming from the valve cover.

This is my 3rd Chevy S-10 / Blazer that I bought back in February.

1999 Chevy Blazer LS 2WD.

Why did you replace the locking cap? just curious. I had a normal cap, and the cap ended up missing along with some gas in my truck, so I got a locking one LOL

Picked up some of the stuff to start skin cancer treatment on my '95 Blazer. Rust primer and a few cans of SEM undercoat. Two weeks from now I should have some before, in progress, and after pictures. This is just phase one of my first modification on a vehicle. Before that its all been maintenance done in house.

I was concerned with the cap not sitting well and not sealing the fuel system. I purchased it for 13.95 with the 44.95 coil pack from the gm dealership. I figure it's a cheap buy on my way to restoring the power and drivability.

I am not worried about gas being stolen. I mean it could happen but I live in a nice community with relatively low crime plus my movement sensors turn on the floods which my truck is always parked under. I'm a detailer and my truck is parked 50 ft away from my work area.
