My 230 mile drive is put to shame by some the 3000+ trips listed here. I do enjoy driving the Blazer on the interstate.

Ill be leaving Tuesday to drive from Abbotsford BC (Vancouver) to Edmonton AB. Its about 1400km. I have to pull my little trailer with 2360 pounds on it up and down some rough hills in the rocky mountains. Ill keep track of my milage and see how I do, I estimate only 400km to a tank.

Default CA to AK

My longest so far would have been from Ridgecrest CA to the La Paz area in Baja and back again. Can't remember how far it was but with only a week to do it in there were a few long days on the road. Got to do some cool off-roading too while searching for some remote areas down there to go spearfishing. This was a few years ago before a lot of the trouble started, although there'd just been a drug murder the night before I passed through one town. Police and soldiers EVERYWHERE. Don't think I'd like to do the same trip now.

My next (and final) trip is going to be the big one. In about 7 weeks time I'm heading from Ridgecrest CA to Anchorage AK via Yellowstone NP and Mt Rushmore, then up through SD, ND, MB, SK, AB, BC, YT, down to Skagway/Haines, back up through BC and YT then across to Anchorage with a possible trip down the Kenai peninsula and back to Anchorage before flying to Australia via Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga and Fiji.

I think the road trip part of my journey is going to be somewhere between 4500 and 5000 miles and will include a lot of places the OP mentioned. I'll be selling the Blazer when I get to Anchorage so if anyone knows someone up that way who might be interested in a '99 2DR 4WD LS Blazer shoot me a PM. I should be up that way by the 21st August. Just spent $3000+ getting her ready for the trip so hopefully all goes well. I'll also be selling a lot of the gear I'm taking so there'll be some bargains to be had. Stuff will include camping gear, snow chains, gas and water cans, etc. I'll post a full list in the Classifieds section when it gets a bit closer.

I drove from Lloyd to Saskatoon. About a 350km trip - 3 hours or so. And to Edmonton once. 250km or so. Other than that she stays in town and keeps the mileage low!

My friend and I wanted to go New York,Ny from Moline, Il. it was 900 miles one way. when we got there we decided to go to Atlantic city, Nj and it was a 120 miles one way. after we had fun Atlantic City we went to Washington, Dc it was around another 200 miles one way. He said that he had a cousin at ocean city and we should go there to visit him since it was july, he said ocean city was fun in the summer time. so we went there and it was around 160 miles. after that we were out of money so we went back to moline, il and it was 1000 miles. this trip took us a month. I didnt have any problem with the truck but it was alot of miles total of 2400 miles.

The farthest i have taken mine was from grand rapids, mi to wyandotte, Ok. It was around 1600 miles round trip. I will never do it again. lol About a third of the way there my buddy broke the back window since he didnt push the cooler in far enough. Then it thunder stormed for about 2.5 hours. On the way home my radiator cracked and i went through $70 in coolant. Then about 4 hours from home my alternator started going out. I also burned about 3/32 of my brand new 33s that i paid a little over $1000 for a month before. On top of all that i spent around $500 in gas since i was pulling a good sized pop up camper and the back was packed full. I only planed on gas being 2-300. So i dont plan on leaving the state with it again unless im pulling it on the trailer.
