What Parts Should I Nick?
#22
Problem is, Blazers are pretty rare & if planning to keep it for a long time then stocking up with as much stuff as possible is always a plus. Eventually stuff will wear out or break. As time goes by parts will be more difficult to get. Especially the RHD bits. That's why I suggested the air vents. Kids broke one of mine!
From what I could find out when I visited my son in Perth, very few Blazers were imported into Aussie. Partly for the difficulty in getting the compliance certificate as explained above.
Eventually, a door panel or fender will be required & will need to be imported at great cost due to shipping. For the next couple of years Blazer parts will still be available in New Zealand & easier for our Aussie neighbours to get hold of. So I guess we're all good still for another 5 or 6 years.
We just need to take care out there.
