Transmission shop says they have to go in to the tranny and fix a valve as it controls the lock up. It will take 2 hours and parts they have in stock.
They say it is common but I could not find any posts on it. Curious!

Make sure they replace the transmission filter while they're in there.

Got the Blzr back Monday. It was fixed earlier but we were heaading on the oposite dirction to pick it up
Result was a contaminated switch on valve body.
Previous owner must have added some tranny conditioner and it disolved the gaskets and placed it on the swich causing it to stick. Much scraping and a few tries and it is now working.
The tranny shop has seen rust inside the xmsn from this stuff, claim it has a high acid content, so beware of snake oil

Excellent! I find that even if you need to take your truck to a shop that often, when they think you know something about it, you're less likely to be taken advantage of. Also, the more information you can supply, the easier the diagnosis, in most cases.
