Help with fixing my steering
Well when I put my body lift in my steering yoke is kinked kind of, so its weird when I turn. Kinda like, HARD, EASY, HARD, EASY, because its kinked. My friend was soppose to fix it a while ago but he bought a 57 chev. and hes doing a frame off. So any idea on how to fix it?

Did you put in an extension piece? Should have been part of the kit. Goes in the joint under the brake booster.
Plus you can loosen the bolts holding the steering column to the bottom side of the dash. Peel the carpet back from the friewall and unbolt the 4 bolts holding it to the firewall. Then push the column down 3/4" and drill new bolt holes. Then bolt it the firewall in the new bolt holes. Tighten up the bolts holding it to the dash.
I would also check the condition of the rag joint. It is the joint between the steering shaft and steering box. Its made of rubber, and if its rock hard, it needs to be replaced. You could replace it with a universal joint from a Jeep, or a new rag joint.

The steering extension is int eh pic below. It is below the black body lift block on teh right side. See it?
Edited for clarification:
While rereading my first response. What I mena by moveing the steering column down 3/4 " is down the firewall. Not push the steering column 3/4" into the engine comaprtment. If that makes more sense? That is why you have to drill new holes to hold it to the firewall.
