Sounds like Water Running when I hit the gas!

Could just be an air bubble in the system. Dodge trucks do this all the time. The Fix is to run it up on some ramps and let it run for a while with the radiator cap off and that should purge the air.

Thanks for the help guys. I tried this last night and it seems to have done the trick.

Glad you got it fixed.

I too have a 2001 blazer that makes this same noise. However, my passenger side floor board underneath the rubber floor mat stays soaking wet. . . is this related? the fluid does not smell like coolant, it just seems to be water. . .

Check the drains on your AC condenser. They tend to plug up with all kinds of crap and the AC condensation has nowhere to go. Not sure where they are on Blazer as I've only had a blazer for a few weeks, But I know someone on here knows.
