Thinking about rebuilding my tranny

Thinking about rebuilding my tranny
Me and a couple friends are thinking about rebuilding my tranny in my garage. I am limited on my tools and knowledge(my friends know way more). Would I be able to do this with a couple jacks to lower the transmission? And how difficult is a rebuild? And would it help my problem described in my other thread? https://blazerforum.com/m_26382/tm.htm (I think my bands might be burnt?) Anyone have any suggestions or tips? If i decide to do this i'll definitely get some pics. If I decide not to I think i'll try to find a used 700-r4 for a few hundred bux. Any comments would be great.

If it makes a difference I bought an amplifier from Hillbilly a few months back and the sale went flawlessly. He's super easy to do business with and by no means a scammer.

If htat deal goes south for any reason, post up.
I can answer most of your rebuild questions. However I don't really feel like doing all that typing if I don't have too.
In the meantime, follow these links to a my rebuilds.

'00 S10-Blazer 4L60E tranny rebuild.
Yes, I rebuilt both of those trannies, in my garage. No I do not do it for a living. I am just a shade tree mechanic, with years of expeirence. I have been fixing my junk for over 2 decades now.
