i got a 2000 chevy blazer im thinking about lifting. all the suspension lifts ive been seeing on s10 blazers are the trailmaster ones. are those the only ones that are recommended? cause i see that super lift makes a 6" and was curious about looking into. but questions im needing to ask is, what all do i need to upgrade after the kit is installed?
p.s. ik i could have searched on the forum for it but i didnt cause idk what to search for and not all my questions are answered

The Trailmaster lifts are cheaper that's why you see alot of people with them. BDS also has a good 5" kit.

Might wanna look into gears. I'm currently running 35" Mudterrains with 4.56 gears. It feels like stock gearing.

If you're gonna do the Trailmaster lift I would get tubular upper control arms. With the TM lift you have to cut the stock control arms for shock clearence which weakens it alot. I bought the 2-3" Rough Country lift and took the controls arms and sold the rest of the kit. It turned out to be cheaper than buying the Superlift control arms for me.

Just know what you're getting into with the bigger lifts. You basically have to take the whole front-end out and there's alot of cutting.

whats the BDS? and i was thinking about throwing on the axles from the zr2 model like i saw on one build. i just wanna see how much work this will be cause im most likely ganna have someone put it on for me so its done...right

Those will work...
But....
Superlift 6" lift kits come with the tubular control arms. So if you're going to be buying the 6" Superlift you don't have to order control arms. Here's the link to their site...

The BDS 5" lift lift may come with tubular upper control arms. I can't remember, their site is down at the moment. Maybe some one else would know.

 

well i was ganna go with the TM cause like you said its alot cheaper then the others and i will also be able to get by without a body lift

 

Ok nothing wrong with saving money. What I did was I bought the Rough Country 2" lift for $465 with shipping. I took the Tubular control arms and the ball joints and I sold the shocks, keys, and shackels for $250 on craigslist. So basically the control arms and ball joints cost me $215 which is alot less than the Superlift control arms.
