Ive been researching on all my lift options and i have been pretty hell bent on the BDS kit. But today I found a 5" trailmaster kit that caught my attention. From what I understand I should probably buy a different set of upper control arms but other then that I havent heard any bad things about them. Can any of you guys give me some insite on this lift?

no...some **** came up and I had to use the money......so im slowly piece everything together lol. I did get the 2" BL though. Just gotta install it.

Do u have input on the Trailmaster kit? have you worked with it before?

 

I've read people complaining about their kits. Only kit I've heard good things about was BDS. Check with Georgesblazah about Trailmaster.

 

what do you guys think about superlift ? good bad ugly

 

I just put on the 5'' lift kit on my 99 4wd 4 door blazer. The rear was simple. However the front took some serious welding and time. Since I am in Kuwait right now, I had a guy I knew from back home to do it. It took him quite a while to do it. I went ahead and replaced the CV joints, ball bearings, everything. It looks really good. The only thing is, I am running 30x 9.50 BF Goodrich TK A/o tires and there is a lot of room to go bigger. I went ahead and put on some 15x7 all black wheels that really gives it a mean stance. The only problem I had with the trail master was the instructions are really vague and the associated pictures and diagrams were horrible. I went online and tried to print out another copy and had the same problem. Also, the kit came with the ssv shocks and the boots did not fit on them. Since I was only home for a week, I did not have time to replace them.

lol.....just a coincidence, a day after I got the truck back from the shop, I was only able to drive it for a day. The rear end went out on it. So now, I have roughly put about 5 grand in the truck in the past two months and it is sitting at my parents house waiting on the rear end to be rebuilt!!

P.S. Anyone reading this have any suggestions for the replacement shocks, let me know.

 

Iwill be putting on the 2"superlift kit on mine for now and possibly in the fall or spring finishing it off with a 6"lift and 2" body lift on my 99 2dr zr2

 

dont waste your money on a 2in kit. I would either save it for the fall of get the bodylift lift. To me it seems kind of a waste to pay that much to lift it for the summer.
