Sounds like something isn't grounding properly? Have you checked continuity for all the wires?

I have a problem with my direction indicators, sometimes they don't work but if I turn the hazard lights on, then the direction indicators work? Do they all work off the same unit? It is easy to pop it out of the dashboard..

So you swapped the hazard's switch and now your turn signals work? I'm having a similar issue, my turn signals don't work but the hazards work, head lamps come on when I turn the lights on but just no turn signals.

Yes, brought into the UK via USA Automotive, I also bought a flasher can but didn't need it. If your other lights all work etc and also hazards I would swap this first. On mine it was an intermittent problem, if the side indicators didn't work I turned the hazards on for a second or two, cancelled them and then side indicators worked for a while. It cost me £200+ so not cheap, maybe $300 to you but knowing UK import duties and VAT I probably got clobbered lol. Dead easy to swap, no worries. DONT remove the whole dashboard, just the cover that plugs in with the switch in it, then it plugs in easily with a multi connector. I had to drill out a hole for the red LED alarm flasher, the cover isn't drilled for it from memory.

Hope this helps
