Default 2001 Blazer clock has stopped working

Hi all. The clock on my 2001 Chevy Blazer's radio has stopped working/lighting up, does any one have any ideas where I might start looking for the problem?

Does the rest of the radio work? Might be time for a new one

You know, if the rest of the radio works, it may be a bad connection that is only supplied when the ignition or retained accessory power is on. This connection looks to be at pin 9 (of connector C1) to the radio, wire number 1301, on the first page of the attached document.

It could also be that the clock part of the circuit board in the radio has gone bad. It might be time for a replacement radio, even an OEM one from a wrecking yard. If you do get a replacement OEM one, at least keep any of the good ***** off the old one and perhaps the whole old one for the buttons.
