So I just picked up an 05 2 door base model, crank windows, aftermarket power door locks and waiting to hear back from previous owner of the following issue...
while vacuuming out the truck the alarm went off. I tried the remote to no avail, changed remote battery and alarm still constantly goes off. Pulled horn fuse so I don't drive the nieghbours nuts.

Also tried turning the truck on, no dice. Cycled ignition, door locks, still nothing. Truck battery is good, even had it hooked up to another vehicle. What is most odd is that while all accessories come on, it won't even crank. Truck ran fine right up until I cleaned it. Any ideas??

 

Is this also an after market alarm system? Where you vacuuming the floor carpet when this started?
