Default 84 GMC Jimmy blower motor/fan switch check?

I have a 1984 GMC Jimmy & it no longer blows air at any fan speed setting. I checked the fuse & it is good. Is there any way to test if the problem is the blower motor or the fan switch?

simplest is probably to find the resistor assy on the heater plenum and jump positive to all the terminals. If blower never starts, then it may be the blower motor connections themselves. Jump pos and neg to them.
