Blower Issue
I have a 2001 Chevy Blazer that no longer activates the blower. It has an ITT Automotive object that seems to be causing trouble. The ITT lets call it box, in my blazer electronically gets its wiring from the compressor and feeds into the blower motor. I am only partially inclined on working on cars but the troubleshooting that led me to believe the short is in the itt box is this; i have used my volt meter on the fuse, compressor, and the cable leading to the itt box. All of which have read the correct 12 volts, I have bypassed the itt box by placing two wires from my battery to my blower motor which also works. This is why i believe the short is in the ITT box. I have removed the box and taken it to multiple auto zones and o'rieleys (shot in the dark) and have come up empty handed. I currwntly have the box at my local auto shop and they are going to pass it around to see if anyone has an idea of what it is, it is definately an after market part added. Does anyone have an idea about this part?
