Default Replacing OEM headlight assembly to LED switch back assembly

First I am not fully sure this is the right sub to post this in but it seemed most reasonable, so let me know if I need to move it. Now for the fun question, Has any one installed any LED switch back lights? I'm looking to get this set from ebay. My main worry is if all the plugs do just plug n play? if the led burns out will I need a whole new housing? does this assembly use normal bulbs? I did try looking for posts like this but I only found one and nobody had responded to his post yet so if i missed one please point me to that post.

I haven't used this type of LED system that completely replaces the whole headlight and signal housing.

The description says the DRL lights require wiring into the factory wire system, so it sounds like it's not completely plug-n-play.

I believe that the LED bands are build into the housing, and would not be replaceable, so I think you're right you'd end up replacing the whole housing. You may be able to contact the seller and get just that one piece though?

Reading the description I think this setup comes with high and low beam LED bulbs, along with the u-shaped bands for the DRL and signal lights.

This is going to look a little weird as I'm confused on how to do the quotes like you have.

I did miss that even after going back and looking but I did finally find and would like to say thank you for pointing it out.

If I do decide to actually buy these I will most likely contact the seller first and ask about how to change the LEDs.

I went back and took a closer look at the images on a better screen and I think I can just barely make out little LED bulbs in where the high and low should be.

Thank you for your response it has help me out. I do apologize about taking so to responded.

It's all good. We try to be helpful and friendly here.

As for the quotes, sometimes its easier to respond to multiple questions that way. For example, in our conversation, I took each of your questions and addressed them separately. It makes it easier for me to keep my ideas straight, and to be sure I address each of them. I think it also makes it easier to understand what part of your question I'm responding to.

To do it, you start by clicking the "Quote" button in the bottom right corner of the post you want to quote. This will start a new post by yourself, and will auto generate a quote of the entire post (it will be inside square brackets like these [ ] ), with code-tags at the start of your post. Then you can copy the code-tags that are auto-generated, and you just split the text written by the previous poster, copying the opening and closing tags around each question. It would look something like this but with square brackets instead of round ones:

(QUOTE=El_Beautor;754222) First question? (/QUOTE)

My response

(QUOTE=El_Beautor;754222) Second question? (/QUOTE)

My response

Etc.

Is this how I do a second quote of the same comment? I just copy and pasted the other quote tags.

You can. Generally if you're omitting something from a quote using an ellipses at the point where you removed something would be a good idea to show that something was removed.

For example: "...you can continue the thought while removing the unnecessary first part."

or "You can use the first part of a quote and then omit the rest..."
