Turn Signal Lights

I recently bought a 1984 Chevy Blazer S-10 that has been sitting around for nearly 10 years and have been working to restore it to its former glory, everything seems to be going well, but I can't seem to figure out the turn signals.
To put it simply, the left turn signal doesn't work properly, the right one and the hazards work perfectly. When I turn on the left turn signal, both the front and rear lights turn on solid. I've looked around and can't find a solution... Help?

sounds like a bad relay or switch at the colum to me. i know the older ones like your tend to have wiring issues around the steering colum. might be a good idea to take a good look around. could be just a pinched wire or something. good luck

Could be a bad ground wire or a wrong buld used. I would also clean the contact points in the socket to ensure no corrosion is there.

Where would I be looking for the pinched wire? I don't see an easy way to get a good look at the wiring on the steering colum...
