Alright so i have a 2 stroke 250cc bike that im trying to make street legal again and its got a 6 volt system. Im pretty sure and willing to bet my lunch money on the fact that the magneto is going to put out wayy more than 6 volts so my questions are should i do a 6 volt regulator to a 6 volt rectifier or can i get away with just using a 6 volt rectifier? and any other opinions you guys have will be appreciated.
