Same as if it were a Blazer, could well be upper control arm bushings or ball joints.

BTW if you cant make a 305 run good. and Cheap, sell it and buy a Subaru. A 305 is a 5 liter!!! Get my drift?

Sorry, the TBI 305 is TOUGH to get any power out of. The TPI (Tuned Port) 305 was a different story though. Those things ran pretty good for what they were, albeit still behind the mustang 5.0 in the same era. Still better off to throw an LS style motor in it and make big power for a lot cheaper.

Ya know what.. you're right. More important.. I was wrong. I was thinking intake, cam.. forgot about heads being designed for economy..

Engine swap is the way to go for cheap.

BTW: I positvely LOATHED the 70's Camaro and Corvette styling. The changes in the eighties got me watching them again. Camaro deserved the design awards they got. They're still handsome.. but would look better with a refresh aftermarket blunt/rounded nose.

Evidently Chevy put those old guys from late 60 to design the Chevy II and Citation

Dont count.. that was a Toyota that was too bland for Japan. Would'a had to call it the Washer-Girl instead of 'Princess' or whatever.

Really.. took years for GM to overcome the piece of crap 65 full size.. then in the eighties right back to it.
Taurus and Crown Vic didnt capture the market, GM surrendered it.
