I think since Blazers are so popular, thieves know how to break into them more easily. Also Blazer's have been around a while. Same as Civics, there's so many on the road that people know how to break into them more than other cars. Civics are the most broken into/stolen car last time I heard, I can't drive 2 blocks without seeing three of them.

my dad owns his own landscaping company and a few years back every wensday someone used to come by and steal the gas off the trailer n syphon it out of his van. called cops they said they werent really gonna do anything since we live in the middle of nowhere. this went on for bout two months before we caught on. so the next wensday night we sat out with our shotguns bout 2am we here them walkin up they parked bout 200ft from the driveway and walked up my dad shot up in the air scared the **** outa them n i ran out into the road put the gun on the streen n fired i know i hit there feet cause next morning blood was on the street. since than no more isues from them...

had a brand new raptor 660 stolen out of the garage connected to the house the tv room backs up to the garage n my dad was watchin tv while it was stolen n didnt here a thing but the cops ended up returning it 27 days later though

tv head unit n custom box and subs that were under the backseat of my f250 than came back later for the amp and what pissed me off more than the stuff gettin stolen is that the truck got keyed too. i have a feeling the key was done by the x girlfriend who left me n got mad cause i found someone else. nut idk who stole the stuff maybe the neighbors kid up the street just cause he knows what all i got n he is into drugs idk

i agree with you joe blazers are easy to break into. just about anything now a days can be broke into because of the power locks. a basic lock pick set and a wedge can get about anything done. i've done it plenty of times for teachers at school who lock their keys in the their cars. one even had the car running when she locked them in. now manual locks take more persistence and some skill to run the slim jim.

Never had anything stolen from a vehicle, but some turds did try to steal my 2000 Firebird at the movies about a year ago. I'm glad they didn't get it because at the time I had about 5k worth of performance mods done. Morons tried to use a flathead to pop the lock. I seriously had NO aftermarket electronics in there. Factory cd player and speakers. And I keep nothing visible in my vehicles when parked. Tells me they were trying to steal the actual vehicle. I always lock my doors and park in well lighted/high foot traffic areas.

The 90's era camaro, firebird, trans am, all those f body GM cars were commonly stolen because all it took was a flathead and hammer to pop the door lock or t-top out and then that same flathead could be jammed into the ignition and used to start the car... Thats why insurance was through the roof when my brother had a 96 camaro for a month before it was stolen
