ok i am 18 years old and i am trying to find out what is the best way to insure my new project its a 1983 vw rabbit this car is going to be made into a race/rally car and i need to register it so i also needs to be insured too. i need the cheapest insurance i can get because i have another daily driver to pay for too

my daily driver is a 1997 gmc jimmy its been insured for two years with no crashes and no speeding tickets and its also insured under plpd (no coverage on my truck if my fault) its 1500 bucks a year to insure it so is there any way i can insure the vw as a secondary car ( driven less than 5000km/year) to save money rather than insureing it as a primary vehicle


any advice would help

 

call up ur insurance agent and talk to them about it, they might give u a deal for having multiple cars insured with them most larger companies will have some sort of program like this.
