Default my camaro ?

so my camaro has been sittin since febuary i took it for a drive the other day and it took off just fine but as soon as it hit 2nd gear it was like it hit neutral so i kicked it down it hit first and took off again has plenty of fluid it doesnt smell burnt and the last time i drove it the tranny shifted just fine so what could mess up just from sitting

What year and submodel is your Camaro? Which engine and tranny? Is it original tranny? When was it serviced last?

its a 92 rs with 305 tbi and 700r trans as far as i know its the original parts i bought as a project car i took for another spin today and shifted it manually and it throws to neutral when i put it to d and od will not catch either just baffled how it worked good before and now it dont

The front pumps and the fins inside them have a tendancy to freeze up after sitting for a while.Best thing you can do is change the fluid and a bottle of trans conditioner and maybe it will get everything back in order.
