Radar Detector
#21
In the late 90's I had an Escort Passport. Great, but lost it to a thieving tow truck driver. Replaced it with a Sensoro Traveller which I dont think they make anymore. I've had it at least 10 years. It NEVER fails to find every grocery store or Rite-Aid! It's pretty good at finding cops too.
I do not speed much, the reason for my having a detector is to cover my ***. If i should happen to be over the limit, and the detector goes off alerting me of a cop - I check my speed. The detector cost $75 back when, and I'm sure it's saved me 10 times that much in insurance premiums if I had gotten even one ticket without it.
speed trap cops are not there for our safety. They are there to fill the coffers for the state. They DO have a quota, and I do not want to help them reach their goals!
