Dang, the wally world in pine bluff has them. I know the one in jonesboro did (had my hands on them last week). The ones they carry only have 1 7/8th and 2 inch. Honestly I don't haul anything needing bigger than a 2 in my blazer.

Will take a look next time I go. They may have just been out of stock. I bet thats the easy cheap route to go on it.

i have 3 hooks in my truck 1 7/8s 2 inch and 2.5 i think ...

I rather have heavy duty hooks and not those adjustable ones

The size of the ***** are 1 7/8", 2", and 2 5/16". The largest is used mainly for mobile homes. FYI.

The towing ball size depends on the weight of the load. Both of our 16 foot trailers and my horse hauler have 2 5/16th *****. My uncles camper and party barge also use it. Even then you have to look at the rating on the ball cause different companies make them with different ratings even if the ball is the same size.


My 85 gmc tow rig has a well worn 2 5/16 ball on it and has never hauled a mobile home, lol. We also have a pintle hitch but that's a whole other ballgame.

Neo, Thanks, I've never known of any other uses outside if mobile homes so thats what I was going off of.
