I have a single retro "Team Arctic" Sticker about the size of my palm on the tailgate on the passenger side just above the bumper. It's well placed, doesn't look tacky, says I ride Arctic Cat Snowmobiles and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.
looks like this: except the red on the flag is white and the font is lime green.
I was considering a big white Chevy Bowtie placed like Byte Stryke's Vortec emblem on the hood/fender, but seeing as I'm trying to clean up the look of my truck, it may be a step in the other direction.

So, back on topic I suppose under certain situations a persons "belt-buckle" (as in ratz case) might actually make you a target aswell.
Don't get me wrong; I could care less about calvin or obama, however In the city I live in a decal like that is on the fast track to gettin your ride keyed or egged, heh in some parts of town maybe even get your hood smashed in with a baseball bat!
Butt this is a free country, and I believe; To Each Their Own!
The OP was about whether advertiseing your toys/mods through the use of stickers was a good or bad idea!
Does'nt matter too much anymore, cuz my trippler pillar pod totally screams STEAL ME! haha, ohwell!

here is something to think about, My neigbor had a ford tempo with all sorts of decals and they went to indy for a vacation parked the car went in a building. a thife broke into the car. He was looking for a pioneer sterio system and a nos bottle. The car was bone stock. The thief was so mad he threw a burning paper into the car.
So whats the moral of this story...No not tempos suck
The moral is that decals are a bad idea.
Personaly i have one decal, It says hometown hotrod. i have a magazene subscription with them and it was free
