What a great day for a drive
Well on Saturday i took a drive to the OuterBanks N.C.
And it was the most fantastic day....A total of 700 miles
And found out that the lower portion of the outerbanks the
Fuel has no ethono in it.....woohoo...gas milage shot upto
17.4 mpg and had a overall mpg of 19.3 i stopped at the
Wright bros. Memorial then over to Jockeys ridge and watched
The hang glider guys do there thing....crused around Nags head
Then headed south through all the small towns untill I ended up
In Buxton and watched the ferry boats shuttle cars to the
Lower portion of the outerbanks...to drive on the beach a week pass
Was $70 ..a little steep for only one day so I passed....got to talk
To a bunch of locals and learned a lot about the politics
Going on with the consevationists trying to protect every
Living thing at a cost to the business that are trying to
Make a living...sad really....but had a wonderfull day..
.need to get a group together and have a weekend of it
Here is my favorite pic of the day
