Buying a 98 blazer today. i was reasearching the vehicle to see what type of problems to expect. always had a jimmy gmc. so trying a blazer everyone says there the same. my opinion not really. but will see how it goes with this one. it has 113,000 miles on it, and everything is electronic power everything, my hubby loves it. getting a good deal paying $3000. for it. so if it turns out i dont like it i can always get my $$$$$ back. cause the resell is much higher.
Not always...this isn't exactly an SUV seller's market. But $3000 does seem real low. Did they say why they're selling it at such a drop?
And the GMC you're used to will be a little nicer than a Chevy model, but if you've got the LT with power everything/leather, the only real differences (if I remember from when I was buying) should be the floor shift moved to the column for the blazer, and the power outlets that the jimmys have 98+. As far as engine/drivetrain, they will be identical.
