I'm new to the 2wd world. Until recently, my DD was a 97 F350 4x4 diesel. Now I'm wanting to start college, and need something more cost friendly so I parked my truck and driving my mom's 95 S10 blazer. It needs some work for sure! I'll be around here and a couple other s10 forums looking for info. I have plenty of plans and can't wait to get started!

Well we parked it in May because when you came to a stop, it would lose oil pressure but would come right back up when you got on the throttle. It eventually got a small knock when there was no oil pressure so that's when we parked it. Pretty sure it all had something to do with the pick up tube being clogged or the screen clogged. Another problem is it's had a miss for afew years and possibly a small transmission issue, could just be the miss. A few weeks ago I ran some sea foam through it and changed the oil and have been driving it since with no oil pressure issues. It has over 243,000 miles currently with this being the biggest issue to date and we've owned it since 96. It's gonna get an engine and trans rebuild, may give it afew more ponies but I doubt it, gonna get lowered, 20s, and paint. I'm trying to start a side business doing powder coating and water transfer printing. The blazer will be my rolling billboard so I need it looking good, as well as reliable.
