Speaking of K&N (wonderful products) I have the filtr and almost got the cold air intake. Does it do more than the filter enough to justify the 250ish dollars they cost?

I really don't think the FIPK kits are all they are cracked up to be. You can buy the oversized cone filter, some aluminum pipe and some silicone couplings to do everything that does for under $100. At most, you may need a hack saw to cut off the tubing. Again, you may want to build a box around the filter so it doesn't draw in heated air.

I just installed a throttle body spacer and noticed the same thing, more partial throttle response but wide open there is no noticeable change.

one thing i would recommend however would be the MSD ignition, my engine would seem to die off and scream when i pushed it past 3.5k but after the msd ive noticed the sound and pull from the engine change noticeably, not so much low end but definately high end.

as for the air intake Ive been noticing these kits on Ebay that are going for like$70 and its basically what you guys were saying, just a K&N cone with some pipes and connectors, seems like you get a $200 discount when you take the K&N/AEM/Injen stick off the pipes haha.

$100 for wires, around $50 for blaster coil, and about $180 for the box itself, oh and i didnt want to mess with the wire splicing and all so i just bought their connector for like $40, finding space in the engine was kinda hard though
