Actually, that only lists the difference between 4x4 and 2WD... But in my owners manual, it lists the 2 door, 4x4 5-speed at 3,900lbs towing capacity, and the auto version is rated at 4,900...

Shackle for the rear like the ones that can be slid into the reciever. I had a different setup which has just come off in anticipationof the lift kit and other goodies yet to be install. It had the usual reciever type hitch with a farmers clamp (you could call it something different but thats what I know it by), which you can find at a Tractor Supply or a rural farm type store. It is kind of like a giant clamp with a locking pin that also has a guard so that if you start to move side to side or for that matter start to accidently start to pull unstraight the tow strap or chaing will not damage your truck. The reason I installed this type of hitch was because sometimes I have to empty the back off my blazer so I can haul and I don't always have time to put my off road gear back in. This way if one of my friends call or I come upon somebody stranded with a tow strap all I have to do is lift the top portion drop the strap onto it and drop the top part down slide the pin in and pull them out. Just my opinion, everybody has there own setup that they like and what works best for them.

 

Pintle hitches are expensive, lol.

I want some of those reciever tubes, so I can get me a fancy 2" reciever setup, kind of like a rear hich, that's removable.... But still connects to both frame rails...


And I'm waiting on the Synergy Offroad hidden winch mount to make its way to ebay... lol.
