Default jimmy off road ability?

Hi, I just bought a jimmy it now has 71k on it. its 4 door 4x4 with the auto 4 as well. I am into all types of cars includeing muscle,SC, etc. I am also very into wheeling. I have taken the my jimmy off road a few times and It has amazed me. But I wan to know If the are reliable off road? Also Where in the world do I find parts for It. I found one lift kit. I my first mid is going to me either bfg a/ts or some cooper mud tires. I am going to keep the stock rims for now. I want to lift it, custom skid plate and rocker sliders, and maybe even a SAS if it's possible on jimmy's.

Just remember anything is possible. SAS is certainly possible. There are numerous lifts for jimmys. Depending on the year you have superlift and bds and trialmaster make lifts for the s-series trucks. If you do a lot of mud wheeling I suggest BFG mud terrains. Cheaper then A/Ts and a much better self-cleaning tread pattern. The only sacrifice is a small amount of road noise and tread life. I have a set and I love 'em. If you spin them on hard packed dirt (like a road) they don't just spin like normal tires they instantly start to dig a hole because of the tread pattern. I got to do a limited test on sunday and they worked great!
