Can someone explain a body lift?

I used to think the same way about body lifts, but since doing it to my truck, i love the way it looks. Body lift is very easy to install. The only pain in the *** part, is removing all the bull**** items that can get hung up when lifting the body up. Once you get past that stage, installing the pucks are easy. Just have to do one side at a time. Btw you can always get gap guards if you don't wanna see the frame or leave the stock ones installed.

Dave, how did you go about lifting the body off the frame? I know most people use a jack and jackstands but your's seems like it would be too high...

lol yea I had to use my buddy's lift to do the body lift. Having access to a lift makes life so much easier. lol

Haha see the thing is im 17 and I recently got this truck and im mainly spending money on getting it running better and gas. My dad was in a car accident 5 years ago and sued the guy and we won and our lawer is a fight with his lawers and how much money we get, the final court case to decide is in a month and they think we will get about 375 grand so when we get that I am going to get a Silverado 1500 z71 and i was wondering about lifting it.

200-250!?, They had one on summit for sale for 94 for 59 dollers

That's because it's for a first gen blazer. Second generation blazer body lift kits are more money.
