Clear coat peeling!!! NEW PAINT
Heres the deal.
2000 blazer
Trucks front clip was repainted to pewter and clear coated. (This was a month and a half ago)
I went mudding yesterday and got mud on the hood and front fenders.
This morning when I cleaned it off, there are little spots and blotches all over the place where the mud was on the front clip (new paint). It looks like it ate right through the clearcoat.
I just paid $600 for the paintjob, what should I do?
Get it recleared?
Or do i have to repaint the whole front clip again?
Please help me out here I feel like such a dumba** for going mudding now.

bring it back to where you got it painted, most paint shops have a warranty on their work.
Get your 600 bucks back and find a different paint shop. For 600 bucks just for the front clip, it should NOT be peeling. bad prep on their part.
