and why not? i splice wires all the time. just make sure you solder the connections and shrink wrap them. never had an issue with any of the work i've done over the last 20 years.

Sound like a LOT of work. You should get projectors and hid's while your at it!
I like the front ends on the 95-97's but each to his own.

I don't mind the work myself, to me that's the most fun of having your own truck and customizing it the way you want. I'm definitely getting projectors or halos while im doin it. That way its only gotta come apart once.Speaking of which, what style headlights do you guys recommend? Links would be awesome!

and i'm the polar opposite-don't like the '95 to '97 Blazers whatsoever. can't stand any of the 2nd gen Jimmy's for that matter.
and yet, it's the opposite when talking about the '91 to '94 1st gen Jimmy's-absolutely luv them, and would trade my '98 Blazer in a flash for a spotless '91 to '94 4 door. the '93 & '94 Blazer grill wasn't so bad either, but i still prefer the Jimmy's.

check out HIDextra's listing for a HID conversion kit. LuvMyTJ has posted pic's of his install. here's a link to his thread;

keep us posted on your progress as you go through it-and remember to take pic's as you go along.

good luck.
