Help Envoy lights with an aftermarket HID kit???
Ive got a 2000 Jimmy that I want to put envoy lights on, ive got the head lights and the ballasts, but I dont have the ignitors or bulbs and dont want to pay dealer prices for them. So my question is can an after market rebased bulb, or a D2S or D1S bulb be used with aftermarket ballasts. has anyone heard of this being done, or know which bulb i can use or what bulb adaptor can be used.

That depends if the Envoy lights you have are HID housings or not...
If they are, then you should need a D2R or a D2S, you can order just the bulbs, or the bulbs and ballasts from PilotHID
Keep in mind, that there's still the chance that it might have a unique, factory specific base... Not likely, but still possible.
