removing windshield trim on first gen

nooooo, the glass is fine, which is why i just want to remove the trim..
which is why i started this thread in the first place to make sure i can remove the trim WITHOUT having to have a glass place coming and taking out the glass.

I think I have caused mass confusion in here.
