is roof on 2001 blazer 2 pieces or just one, i need to know before i install a antenna so i can get the right mount,,,,,, thanks

It depends where at on the roof you are talking. There are braces in the roof that have a couple layers to them and there are spots where its just the sheet metal. What type of an antenna is it that you are wanting install?

 

i was going to put a wilson 5000 in the center of roof but when i took dome light out it had a brace down middle,,, but then a guy around here told me that the mount i had isnt long enough because the roof is made up of 2 sheets of metal cant tell that by looking thru dome light hole,,, i thought maybe some one would know for sure and let me know...... thanks

 

It really just depends exactly where you place it. I think the dead center has a brace under it. Dropping your headliner a bit and taking a peak is going to be your best bet.

 

well finally got around to getting antenna put on..... just pulled out the dome light and pulled the lining down just enough to drill hole and install the mount then used an old speedo cable to route the coax down thru the post behind the drivers seat.... antenna works great with a swr of 1.2 to 1 on channel 1 and 1.3 to 1 on channel 40... thanks guys
