Can we restore a rusty unit or is it easier to purchase new? If replace, where can I procure one?

they arent factory on 4 door but I just today installed one off a 2 door model. I had to access the inner panel but all in all it went on pretty easy but inside the tailgat it will take a bit to get all the bolts secure. I will post a pic as soon as possible. First 4 door 1995 model with one in Fargo i am sure.

They did not come as a options on any year 4 door second gen blazer. Only the first gens had the option for the 4 door. You could get one from a 2 door second gen and fab up a mounting bracket and mount it on your truck as I did. Definitely not stock and not all that hard. Could probably find someone that would do it for around $200.
