Thinking about removing roof rack

Is there anything that u can plug the wholes from the roof rack? What can u do instead of filling it in and then painting it? Kinda want to take it off and if need to use it put it back on

Paint the screws to match the truck and just put them back in.

You could just take the rack off and out the screws back in it, that way whenever you need to use it again, you can just toss it back on. But the best looking thing would be to shave it.
