Leaf Springs Creak
On my gen1 Blazer, the rear leaf springs tend to creak when going over slight bumps (or even when weight is shifted during braking/accelerating)like a hounted house's front door and its driving me mad.
I have already taken the wheels off many times and cleaned the living daylights out of them. I used nearly every degreasing/cleaning product I have followed by a hose down. I once tried WD40 or even light chain grease coat on them. The problem is only fixed for a few days. There are no signs of corrosion.
I guess the next thing to do is replace them (maybe a lift kit, I have been planning on getting one anyways), but this is expensive and hard work to do by myself. Before I do this, I was wondering if there is anything else I can try to solve this.
Thanks!
