Question NP 208 Transfer Case ?

Hello, I have a NP 208 Transfer case that came out of a 1985 Ford F250 4x4 with 4 spd and 460 engine. I have been seeing ads for sale on NP208'S in Blazers. Is this the same transfer case. Mine is possibly a NP208F. This case has six bolts to hook it to the tail shaft and is a locked yoke. Any info appreciated or a link or two for reading would be just great.
Thanks in advance.

the thing you have to worry about is the spline count. is your transmission spline going to slide into the transfercase

Yeah, as the link I posted above states, the Ford NP208 has a 31 spline input while the GM has a 27 spline input when behind a TH350 or TH700R4 // 32 spline when behind a TH400 or SM465. The clocking of the transfer case is also different.
