700r4/208
im getting and dana 60 front end and a 14 bolt with a locked rear end and a 400 small block to drop in my 87 k5 im also puting an 6" susp lift with 35s will the 700R4 tranny and 208 transfer hold up to it?
i never really had a 700r4 in a wheeling truck. had one in a 84 that i used as a daily driver/tow vehicle on 33s and it lasted the few years i owned the truck.
for the past few years ive been wheeling with the 208 case also with a 400ci and 38 inch tires and never had one problem with the transfercase. also depends on what kinda wheeling your doing. if your gonna be going ***** out bouncing up rocks you might have a issue
