I'm glad I read to the end before posting. Thx for that Rex.

In regards to doing a SAS, $1000-$1500 sounds about right if you are using axles that are ready to go. Putting the actual axles under the vehicle was cheap, I'd guess $50 in misc. steel, but once you add up rebuilding axles, steering, driveshafts, SYE, shocks, brake parts etc it gets expensive. I was in the $3200 range without tires.

Honestly if I were you I would just do a mild tbar crank and shackles and put some 31's on there. You can have a ton of fun with that setup and it won't being needing repairs every time you turn around. The simple answer to your original question about sas is that there is no such thing as a cheap sas swap. You could take your time buying everythng here and there as you find it at good prices but you are still looking at $1000-1500 by the time you are done! The little things required add up very quickly! I would say take some more time and read everything you can find as far as build threads and such and then determine farther down the line if the sas is something you really want to tackle.
Thanks for the help really useful and yea I think I'll just do that got to wait awhile though just got it inspected a month or two ago and got brand new rears put on. I tried to go mudding today with stock tires and my 3" lift worst idea ever because of the ruts lol. I'll just save up some money and throw 31's on it and maybe in the meantime add a body lift for looks. I really appreciate it Rex. Also can I put 31's on the stock rims or do I need to get new rims?

Stock rims are fine for 31's, you might rub a bit on the frame and/or sway bar
