when i measured i measured from the ground to the fender, before and after tbar crank, on level surface

That's fine if you're looking for body alignment problems, but NOT for chassis ride height, 2 totally different things. The suspension doesn't care where the body is. Adjusting front chassis ride height will affect body height, but body height has no effect on chassis ride height. If front chassis ride height is off, adjust it with the torsion bars. If the body is crooked, take it to a body shop

Front chassis ride height is the vertical distance between the lower-most inboard point of the steering knuckle, nearest the ball joint, to the center of the lower control arm pivot bolt.
1996 & newer:
4WD (except ZR2) = 4.6” to 5.0” (4.8” is preferred)
ZR2 = 4.6” to 5.2” (4.9” is preferred)

Very easy to do: Measure from the knuckle straight down to the ground. Then measure from the center of the lower control arm bolt straight down to the ground. Then subtract the knuckle to ground measurement from the control arm bolt to ground measurement. The answer, (remainder) is front chassis ride height.

thanks for the tip ill check my body mounts and try re adjusting according to specs and see what happens
